Why are you passionate about your business?
The first reason I am passionate about my business is because there is a necessity for my business – everybody needs clothes. Secondly, I want to help bring back sewing production in the US. Most business owners use another country for production. Before the 1950s, the US had a mark in this industry, and I want to see that return.
What are you most proud of in regards to your business thus far?
I am most proud of the buzz my name and brand is creating. This has led to great networking opportunities that long term transfer into revenue.
What’s the biggest lesson you’ve learned so far as an entrepreneur?
The biggest hurdle I’m learning to overcome as an entrepreneur is building my social media presence; and learning how to do the invoicing process in a timely fashion.
What advice would you give to someone currently in prison who would like to do something positive with their life when they get home?
Reflect on when you were a teenager, what did you like to do? Find that passion and stick with it.
Outside of your business, what is something that you love doing?
I love to sew all the time, play my banjo, listen to music, paint and draw.
What does success look like for you and your business?
Expansion into international markets.
