Why are you passionate about your business?
I love the revenue I receive, I am able to take care of my family. I’m not passionate about the labor that comes with cleaning. But I can’t take away from the fact that it provides for me, my 3 kids, and the bills that have to be paid.
What are you most proud of in regards to your business thus far?
It’s a rewarding feeling to have repeating clients. Being in good standing with my clients reassures the quality of my work and makes it easier to get that next client with that word of mouth marketing.
What’s the biggest lesson you’ve learned so far as an entrepreneur?
I have learned to never instill to much trust into people, well the people that work for me. It can be frustrating dealing with the let downs that can come.
What advice would you give to someone currently in prison who would like to do something positive with their life when they get home?
I would tell them to stand on what you believe in; as well as, follow your dreams. Don’t let people undermind you and if you want something then seek it and go for just that.
Outside of your business, what is something that you love doing?
I love to take vacations. Anywhere with a beach so I can enjoy watching my kids play.
What does success look like for you and your business?
Success looks like me no longer being in the field; I want to have the money work for me. Right now I’m working for the money.
